Deflation, Disinflation ... Or What?
Opinion remains divided on the February CPI print next week. If the inflation rate has plateau'd this will give more grist to the bear mill that this hiking cycle isn't done. If it puts in a sequential drop we can expect another leg up. Assuming, that is, that this is the driving factor. As always the best method is just to watch and respect the actual price action in the market and not worry too much about why x or y happened since one is unlikely to hit up on the core reason - if there even is a core reason!
