CPI Will Inflict Some Pain
Bulls and bears alike are braced for CPI at 0830 Eastern. The market reaction will likely take many phases and the immediate knee jerk is unlikely to be the final event. The wisest of traders will be looking to capitalize on the fear of bulls and bears alike by hunting out short and long stop orders in the indices in particular; expect to see some volatility whilst that takes place (the taking of money from religious conviction investors); thereafter the market will pick its next direction.
Below we walk you through our long- and short term takes on the indices, which you can use to action ETF or futures trades should you wish. These posts are for paying members only - if you’d like to join up, you can do so right from this button.
